More Art

I've been painting more and making ColorSplash versions of the paintings.
I've made a lot of prints to frame. The prints come out better than the computer screen reveals, but this gives some idea of the process.

Creating a Series

FX Photo Studio enables you to create a series with photos. By applying different filters to your photos, you can creating different effects with the same basic image. I've been applying this to some of my paintings. Here's an example of the original plus several other versions.

New Pics

I have doing some painting and then take picture of the paintings and applying various photo filters. It ends up creating some interesting effects.

More Photo fun

I've taken a bunch of photos of several of my paintings. Then I run the photos through Instagram which overlays different filters on top of the photos. So, this has become a way to multiply the art from a single creation. There's the original painting and then versions of photos from it. Each one can become its own artwork. Here's a few more examples.

Fun With Instagram

I came across a new app that will transform photos into different styles and let you share them in various ways, called Instagram. Take photos with iPhone and apply different styles to them. Here are a few including myself and some of my artwork. It creates new art out of old.

Paintings

I'm slowly framing some of my paintings. I realized that pictures of them at different angles might create something different. These are some straightforward pictures. I'll play around with photography and see what comes up.
